We're continuing with Janyl Jusupjan's series of short films about the lives of ethnic Kyrgyz in the town of Jerge-Tal in northern Tajikistan.

In the first film we met Nooruz, a taxi driver who dreams of moving to Kyrgyzstan.

In the second film we met Khamid Boronov, an elderly schoolteacher who uses his spare time to gather local artifacts for a museum, to remind the people of Jerge-Tal of their common past.

This time we meet Latofat, the only female singer in her village, whose mother was Kyrgyz and father was Tajik.

Her first husband left for work in Russia and they agreed to divorce. She is now the second wife of a man from another village and has two daughters.
