The body of Nelson Mandela was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Qunu in South Africa's Eastern Cape province.
The former anti-apartheid prisoner, who became South Africa’s first black president, is to be buried in his rural home village of Qunu.
The ceremony was attended by thousands of people, including members of the ruling African National Congress, Mandela's family, government officials, and foreign dignitaries.

The funeral, which included traditional rites of Mandela’s Xhosa clan, brought to an end 10 days of national mourning following Mandela’s death on December 5 at the age of 95.
