NATO's Parliamentary Assembly is beginning its four-day annual meeting in Prague on November 9, with delegates expected to examine issues critical to the alliance.
Committee reports will address issues including Iran's nuclear program, the Syrian conflict, the euro crisis, Arab uprisings, Russian internal politics, and Arctic natural resource development.
Delegates are also expected to examine the use of drone aircraft and NATO's plans to withdraw from Afghanistan in 2014.
Plenary session speakers scheduled for November 12 include NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and government leaders from the Czech Republic, Georgia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Macedonia.

The European Parliament and the OSCE are also sending representatives.
