A group of men in dark clothing arrived in the early hours of March 28 at the bridge in Moscow where Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov was killed last month and cleared away flowers and other items left there in tribute to the slain leader.
Supporters had regularly gone to the spot on the bridge near the Kremlin where Nemtsov was gunned down on February 27 and left bouquets of flowers, candles, or pictures of Nemtsov as an improvised memorial.
A video posted on social media showed the men throwing the flowers and other objects into trash bags at about 2 a.m. local time.
It was the second time the spot was cleared away.
On March 24, several people from a previously unheard of group calling itself the Liberation Movement SERB photographed themselves clearing away the improvised memorial site.
Aleksei Venediktov, the chief editor at the semi-independent radio station Ekho Moskvy, said that by late morning March 28, Nemtsov's supporters had again started placing fresh flowers and photographs at the spot.
