President Barack Obama says "the world is not doing enough" to fight Ebola.
Obama suggested to reporters on October 14 that he will begin pressuring leaders of other countries to do more.
He commented at a meeting in Washington with U.S. and allied military leaders primarily focused on the threat from Islamic State militants.
Obama says the U.S. will continue to do its part but that other countries must do more than they are doing right now.
The White House said later that Obama will hold a video conference October 15 with British, French, German, and Italian leaders to discuss the Ebola epidemic in West Africa.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) said October 14 the Ebola epidemic is still spreading in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, and there could be between 5,000 and 10,000 new cases a week in early December.
WHO Assistant Director General Bruce Aylward said the death toll so far in the outbreak, first reported in Guinea in March, has reached 4,447 from a total of 8,914 cases.
