At least five people were killed and more than 12 injured by a bomb blast at a hotel in Quetta, Pakistan. The Chinese ambassador, Nong Rong, had been staying at the hotel but was not present when the blast occurred. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
