Pakistan Says Foils Would-Be Suicide Attack On Islamabad

Pakistani authorities say they have foiled a plot to bomb government buildings and a mosque in the capital, arresting two would-be suicide attackers.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik said the authorities learned about a possible suicide bombing at parliament or nearby building on the night of November 25, after which they quickly increased security in the area.

A police official, Bin Yamin, said the would-be bombers were linked to the Pakistani Taliban in South Waziristan.
