Small Plane Crashes In Southern Russia's Rostov Region, Killing Pilot

Reports from Russia's southern Rostov region say an ultralight airplane crashed, killing the pilot.

TASS reports that the single-engine Bekas airplane crashed on June 6 in the Salsk district of Rostov about 2 kilometers from the village of Sadovy.

Reports said the privately owned aircraft was performing agricultural work and that the flight had not been authorized.

There were no reported injuries or damage on the ground.
