South Korea's air forces and the army carried out missile drills early on September 4 in response to North Korea's sixth nuclear test a day earlier. Pyongyang claims it successfully tested a hydrogen bomb. Seoul said the drills, involving long-range air-to-surface missiles and ballistic missiles, simulated targeting the area where the test had been carried out. (South Korean Defense Ministry)
