Suspected U.S. Drone Strike Kills Three In Pakistan

Officials say at least three suspected militants have been killed in an apparent U.S. drone missile strike on a compound in northwestern Pakistan.

The strike took place on June 14 in Miranshah, the main town of North Waziristan.

It came a day after another air strike in the same area killed four alleged militants.

The U.S. considers drone attacks to be a vital weapon in the war against Islamist extremists operating along the Afghan-Pakistan border region.

Critics say the strikes cause a high number of civilian casualties.
