Assad Denies Chemical Attack

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has denied his forces were responsible for an apparent chemical attack on the town of Khan Sheikhun on April 4, which killed 87 people. The Syrian authorities gave AFP excerpts from an interview he gave to the news agency on April 12.
