Thousands of Hasidism followers from around the world gathered in Uman, about 200 kilometers south of Kyiv in Cherkaskoyio region, to mark Rosh Shan - Jewish New Year. The city is a pilgrimage site for Hasidic Jews to the burial site of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, a great grandson of the founder of Hasidism.
