A barrage of Russian attacks with S-300 missiles and Iranian-made Shahed drones killed at least seven people in Ukraine's second-biggest city, Kharkiv, overnight on April 5-6. The Planeta Mall shopping center, a gas station, and several other civilian facilities were hit. Workers repairing smashed windows in apartment buildings described the scale of the damage across the northern part of Kharkiv as unprecedented.
