Protests In New York Against Police Brutality

Protests were held in New York following the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man, in police custody in Baltimore. The New York was march was one of several across the U.S., where there have been a number of protests against incidents of alleged police brutality against black men. In New York, Eric Garner died after being held in a chokehold by a policeman in July 2014, while in Ferguson, Missouri, Michael Brown died after being shot by a policeman in August, 2014. (Reuters)
