U.S. Releases Found Videos Of Bin Laden

U.S. officials say they now believe that Osama bin Laden was in active strategic and operational control of Al-Qaeda from his compound in Pakistan.

Officials say evidence gathered from the compound during the May 2 raid by American special forces that killed bin Laden shows that the house in Abbottabad, Pakistan, was "an active command and control center" for the terrorist network.

The statements came as the U.S. released videos seized in the raid that show bin Laden inside the compound.

The videos show him watching himself on television and rehearsing speeches for terrorist propaganda videos.

U.S. officials said the video clips are only a part of what has been described as the largest collection of senior terrorist materials ever seized.

Officials said the evidence seized during the raid also includes phone numbers and documents.
