Artyom Filatov

Artyom Filatov is a Russian journalist who lives in the Latvian capital, Riga. In Russia, he worked for Ekho Moskvy Radio in St. Petersburg and the RTVI channel in Moscow. In 2022-2023, he was the founder and presenter of the Opyt Svobody (Freedom Experience) media project on YouTube, focusing on Russian civil society amid the war in Ukraine and increasing repression. He joined the Current Time channel in Riga in December 2025.
