Chechen Premier Injured In Moscow Car Crash


(RFE/RL) 18 November 2005 -- The prime minister of Chechnya's Moscow-backed government has been hospitalized following a car crash in Moscow.


Russian media reports said Sergei Abramov is in serious but stable condition.


He was injured when the car he was traveling in collided with a truck on the evening of 17 November.


Abramov was appointed to the post of Chechen prime minister one year ago.
