Estonia Says Russian Plane Violated Its Air Space

7 December 2005 -- NATO-member Estonia today accused a Russian military aircraft of violating its national air space.

The Estonian Defense Ministry says the Antonov An-12 transport plane was heading toward the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad when it entered Estonia's air space.

The Russian military denied the incident occurred.

Estonia says this is the second time in less than two months that a Russian military plane entered its air space.
