(RFE/RL) June 14, 2006 -- Japan gave $400,000 in aid to Tajikistan to restore its mobile television station.
Tajikistan's Foreign Minister Talbak Nazarov met on June 13 with Japanese charge d'affaires Hiroshi Takahashi to receive the aid, which, the Japanese Embassy said, is intended to help expand the television services provided by Tajikistan's state television company.
