Boris Berezovsky (file photo) (epa) September 12, 2006 -- A group of Kyrgyz opposition lawmakers today demanded that a probe be launched into reports that the London-based Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky secretly visited the country in July and met with President Kurmanbek Bakiev.

The parliamentarians say that Berezovsky, who is wanted in Russia on fraud and other criminal charges, should have been detained and deported to Moscow.
