Police Search Home Of Suspected Karadzic Supporter

Karadzic still has his supporters (file photo) (epa) February 10, 2007 -- Bosnian police and NATO troops have searched the home of a man suspected of helping fugitive war crimes indictee Radovan Karadzic hide from authorities.

The home of Radomir Kojic, in Pale -- which is 15 kilometers east of Sarjevo -- was searched early today because officials believe he is involved in the support network that is protecting Karadzic, according to NATO spokesman Derek Chappel.

Karadzic was the leader of the Bosnian Serbs during the 1990s and is wanted by the UN war-crimes tribunal for genocide and other crimes.
