NATO Secretary-General To Visit Belgrade


Jaap de Hoop Scheffer (file photo) (epa) March 7, 2007 -- NATO Secretary-General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is scheduled to travel to Belgrade on March 8.


De Hoop Scheffer plans to meet with senior Serbian officials -- including President Boris Tadic, Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic, and Defense Minister Zoran Stankovic.


The NATO chief also is scheduled to deliver a public speech at Belgrade's Federation Palace.
