Iran Not Yet Decided On Iraq Conference


Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hosseini (file photo) (Fars) April 22, 2007 -- The Iranian Foreign Ministry said today the country has not yet decided whether to attend an international conference to discuss how to end the Iraqi conflict.

Spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said a final decision will be made after a meeting of the Iranian and Iraqi foreign ministers in the coming week.

The conference, in Egypt from May 1-4, is to include the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Syria, Turkey, and others.
