Russia Criticizes OSCE For Bias On Human Rights

Mikhail Kamynin (file photo) (ITAR-TASS) May 25, 2007 -- Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin has criticized the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for focusing too much on human rights issues.

Kamynin said Moscow would like to reform the OSCE and have it focus more on political, security, and economic issues.

Russia has repeatedly criticized the OSCE for what it calls a pro-Western bias.
