Russian Central Bank Head's Apartment Sprayed With Bullets

Moscow, March 19 (RFE/RL) -- Unknown gunmen have fired at least three times at the Moscow apartment of Russian Central Bank Chairman Sergei Dubinin, but he and his family were unhurt.

Our correspondent quotes central bank officials as saying Dubinin himself was not in the apartment at the time of last night's attack.

The Moscow Police Departement is investigating the incident.

Interfax news agency said the bullets shattered windows in the kitchen, the living room and bedrooms. Ingterfax said Dubinin's mother and two sons were in the apartment.
