Copenhagen, 6 September 1996 (RFE/RL) -- The World Health Organization (WHO) and The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) announced today a campaign to encourage freedom of movement in Bosnia.
Officials of the U.N.-related organizations said that WHO and the UNHCR will conduct a press and educational campaign to urge residents and local authorities in Bosnia to abide by the Dayton Accords' provisions on freedom of movement, especially for patients and medical personnel.
They said they plan to use communication channels of the NATO Peace-Implementation Force (IFOR) and local media.
