Washington, 22 November 1996 (RFE/RL) - The U.S. Defense Department says Defense Secretary William Perry will visit U.S. troops stationed in Bosnia next week.
A spokeswoman says Perry will spend the traditional American holiday of Thanksgiving with soldiers on Thursday.
The visit to Bosnia is part of a week-long trip overseas by Perry.
He will leave Tuesday and go to Italy first, then Bosnia. After that, Perry will travel to Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Japan. He is due to return to the United States on December 3.
