Bratislava, 11 Aug 1997 (RFE/RL) - Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski will make his delayed state visit to Slovakia starting on August 20. Polish Embassy Second Secretary Rafal Morawiec said today that during his two-day visit Kwasniewski will meet President Michal Kovac, Slovak parliament chief Ivan Gasparovic and Prime Minister Vladimir Meciar. Kwasniewski was to have made the visit in the middle of last month, but cancelled after floods ravaged southern Poland.
