London, 12 November 1997 (RFE/RL) -- Georgian Foreign Minister Irakli Menagharishvili is holding talks in London today with British Defense Secretary George Robertson. No details have been made public.
Menagharishvili, who's on a four day official visit to London, will have talks over dinner tomorrow night with British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook. A Foreign Office spokesman said he is also due to meet Overseas Development Minister Clare Short and a senior minister at Britain's Department of Transport.
Menagharishvili will address the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London tomorrow on the theme "A Georgian view of the Caucasus region." He leaves Britain on Saturday.
