Jailed Azerbaijani newspaper editor Eynulla Fatullayev, who was sentenced to 8 1/2 years in jail in 2007, has been released as part of a presidential amnesty. The European Court of Human Rights ruled in 2010 that Fatullayev should be released and paid compensation.
