Just A Forest - And 40,000 Corpses

Outside St. Petersburg, there is a huge forest. From August 1937 to September 1938, 40,000 people were executed and buried in this forest. The site was uncovered in 1989 through the stories of truck drivers who took people and corpses to the forest. Irina Flige from Russia's Memorial human rights center tells the story.
