Deadly Bombings Strike Northern Iraq

A series of bomb and mortar blasts struck the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on December 16, killing at least nine people. Video from December 17 shows the aftermath of three roadside bombs that exploded near a Shi'ite mosque and a car bomb and a roadside bomb near the offices of a television channel. (Reuters)
