Flash Floods Cause Deaths, Damage Near Kabul

Villages north of Kabul were devastated by a flash flood that swept across the Shomali plain on August 11, washing away some homes and inundating others. Officials said that at least 22 people were reported killed. Earlier this month, flooding east of the capital killed more than 60 people. (Video by RFE/RL's Radio Free Afghanistan)
