Afghans Mourn Victims Of Communist Rule
Afghans are observing two days of mourning for the estimated 5,000 people killed after the communist coup in 1978. A list of the dead, missing, and disappeared was released recently by Dutch war crimes investigators. Several hundred people held a candlelight vigil in Kabul to commemorate the victims.
