Poroshenko Visits Mariupol, Calls For Peace

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on September 8 visited the eastern port city of Mariupol, where sporadic shelling on the weekend disrupted the fragile cease-fire. Poroshenko told a crowd of steel workers that the city is able to defend itself against separatist forces, but that "everyone wants peace." (Reuters)
