A bitter debate between Romanian conservationists and farmers has ignited after activists accused a prince from Liechtenstein's royal family of shooting a brown bear nicknamed "Arthur." The prince denied he killed that animal, said to be one of Europe's biggest bears. While the alleged trophy hunting of the huge 17-year old bear has sparked outrage, local shepherds say their livestock is often attacked and want a cull of Romania's wild bear population, the largest in Europe.
