EU Commissioner: ‘We Have An Obligation To Support Ukraine’

EU Budget Commissioner Johannes Hahn is confident that the EU will provide Ukraine with the necessary financial support until the end of the year but has asked member states to step up financially in 2023 as the “war is very likely to still go on.” Hahn spoke to RFE/RL’s Rikard Jozwiak on September 9 in Prague ahead of an informal meeting of EU finance ministers.
