MINSK -- Police in Minsk have detained an activist of The European Belarus campaign, RFE/RL's Belarus service reports.
Witnesses informed RFE/RL's bureau in Minsk that police in the city's Partizanskiy district stopped Yauhen Afnahel on the street and took him away, without explanation.
Afnahel is currently being held in a police station in the Belarusian capital.
