Blast Hurts Official's Driver In Ingushetia


Russian media reports say a bomb exploded beneath a high-ranking police official's car in Ingushetia today, injuring his driver.

According to initial reports the official, Deputy Interior Minister Beslan Shadiyev, was not in the car at the time of the blast.

The reports said the blast occurred early today close to the local Interior Ministry building in Nazran, the largest city in the violence-plagued North Caucasus republic.
