A few weeks ago it was the death of the Yugo -- now "The New York Times" has a story on the "collectible" Trabant, still seen now and again on the streets of Eastern Europe.
There's also a photo here of a new model, which I was excited to see -- just for a good old dose of Eastern bloc nostalgia.
Until I realized, it was literally just a model, made by company that makes miniatures. Oh well.
