Pakistani Preacher Gets Fatwa Over Palin

Sexism allegations
Interesting story from the "Christian Science Monitor" about a radical Muslim leader in Pakistan who has issued a fatwa against Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari for comments he made about Sarah Palin.

Zardari met Governor Palin in New York last week and reportedly told her she was "gorgeous." (Watch the meeting on YouTube.)

The Muslim leader chastised Zardari for "indecent gestures, filthy remarks, and repeated praise of a non-Muslim lady wearing a short skirt."

According to the "Monitor," the Pakistani English-language daily "Dawn" asked in an editorial, "Why do our presidents always end up embarrassing us internationally by making sexist remarks?"
