Back in August, in an attempt to quell public anger about the reconstruction of homes devastated in wildfires, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin promised to personally monitor the construction via CCTV.
It seems to have worked. The business daily "Vedomosti" has an interesting series of time-lapse videos, taken from the CCTV cameras, showing houses being built.
If you're really into monitoring construction progress, you can check out the live feeds on Putin's website, where you can watch the seven remaining cameras. (The others have been removed as the construction has reportedly been finished in those places.) The time-lapses are definitely worth watching, though.
