PRAGUE -- The writers and poets writing in Russian will hold a festival in Prague on April 11, RFE/RL's Russian service reports.
The festival is organized by the Union of Russian-Speaking Writers of the Czech Republic. Russian-speaking writers from Russia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Norway, and Israel are expected to attend the festival.
The editor in chief of Russia's "Znamya" magazine, Sergei Chuprin, and the rector of Moscow's Maksim Gorky Literature Institute, Boris Tarasov, are among the festival's special guests.
The gathering's organizational committee is led by well-known Moscow writer Yury Polyakov.
