Teenage Suicide Bomber Strikes Customs Office Near Kandahar
Kandahar Province's police chief says a teenage suicide bomber has blown himself up near a group of U.S. soldiers and Afghan officials inside a customs office near Kandahar city.
Police chief Mohammad Mujahid said U.S. troops and Afghans were among the casualties, but it was not immediately clear how many people were killed or wounded.
A spokesman for NATO-led forces in Afghanistan confirmed the attack and that U.S. soldiers were nearby, but was unable to immediately confirm the number of casualties.
