Disabled By Polio, Afghan Official Hopes For Better Opportunities For All
Sayed Hamid Daqiq was partially paralyzed by polio at an early age, but with a little assistance from family and friends, he has risen to a high-level post in Afghanistan's Finance Ministry. Daqiq hopes that recent legislation promising improved access and resources for disabled Afghans will allow many more people to meet their full potential.
