Thousands In Bishkek Protest Kyrgyz Election Results

Thousands of supporters of eight opposition parties in Kyrgyzstan protested in Bishkek on October 5, a day after the country held parliamentary elections. Opposition parties that did not win seats say the elections were rigged, with votes being bought and other irregularities marring the polls.
