A horror movie produced by Kazakh-Russian filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov and directed by Georgian actor-director Leo Gabriadze hits screens at theaters in the United States on April 17.
Events in the film Unfriended develop on a computer monitor, while the characters use Facebook and Skype.
The film stars Shelley Hennig as one of several friends who find themselves terrorized online by an anonymous person.
Unfriended is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America for "violent content, pervasive language, some sexuality, and drug and alcohol use — all involving teens."
The film was first presented at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal last year.
