Russian State TV Repeats Bizarre, Baseless Claims About Bill Gates And COVID-19

Russian state TV has broadcast a 15-minute prime-time report amplifying unfounded conspiracy theories that U.S. billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates is responsible for the coronavirus pandemic. The report was broadcast the same day that an EU report said state media in Russia were running a "coordinated campaign" to "sow confusion" about the origins of the virus.
