Czechs Celebrate 25th Anniversary Of Velvet Revolution
Czechs on November 17 marked the 25th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, the peaceful protest movement that brought an end to communist rule in Czechoslovakia. Thousands of protesters used the anniversary to denounce what they called the current president's poor record on human rights and cozy relations with Russia.
