Iran To Review Ties With Censuring IAEA Countries
December 4 -- Chairman of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani said on Thursday that the National Security Commission of the Parliament will review relations between Iran and those countries that voted against Iran as part of an International Atomic Energy Agency resolution. The statement, which rebukes Iran for secretly constructing the uranium enrichment site in Qom, was passed on November 27. Twenty-five countries, including China and Russia, voted in favor of this reprimand.
Rafsanjani: Iran In Unity Crisis
December 4 -- Head of the Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani called the post-election situation in Iran "really serious." He also spoke about Iran's nuclear program, calling the global consensus on the program “dangerous," and adding, “In this situation having alliance and unity are the most important things. If they feel that we don’t have unity, they might be tempted to be more evil.” Hashemi also noted that only the Supreme Leader can solve Iran's post-election crisis and create unity among the Iranian people.
